Rose Sadiki is a dedicated Renewable Energy Facilitator with a primary focus on solar energy. For the past four years, she has been an integral part of the Arusha Technical College Solar Centre, where she has demonstrated unwavering passion and expertise in the field. She also actively promotes the inclusion of girls in science and renewable energy, serving as a strong advocate for gender diversity in the field. Her efforts have inspired many young women to pursue careers in STEM and renewable energy.
Rose has been instrumental in teaching Solar PV courses to both beginners and professionals, equipping them with the necessary skills to harness the potential of solar energy. She has had the privilege of mentoring and training 200 youth in solar PV under the auspices of GIZ, contributing to the initiative of "Youth employment in Solar." She is a registered member of the Tanzania Renewable Association (TAREA), actively engaging with like-minded individuals and organizations in the pursuit of sustainable energy solutions. Rose’s commitment to expanding her knowledge in solar applications is evident through her participation in specialized courses on topics like water pumping and Mini-grid design. This dedication to continuous learning ensures that she remains at the forefront of advancements in the renewable energy sector.
