Neha is an award winning Climate Justice Advocate, Poet, and Contemporary Folk Artist. Neha is known globally as a passionate and committed champion for advancing women’s vital role in the renewable energy sector. In 2010, Neha Co-Founded non-profit Solar Sister, the world’s leading women driven last mile distribution network delivering life transforming portable solar and clean cooking technologies to remote communities across sub-Saharan Africa. For her pioneering solar work, she has been featured in Forbes, National Geographic, Ms.Magazine, the Huffington Post, United Nations Chronicle, Voice of America amongst others. Neha is Solar Suitcase Ambassador for We Care Solar, 2017 Presidential Leadership Scholar , 2016 Spring Coaching Fellow, 2019 Summer Perennial Fellow. In 2020, Neha launched her Earth stewardship centered multi-disciplinary studio which uses the power of creativity for planetary health and consciousness. Neha holds a Master of Business Economics degree from the University of Delhi, a Bachelor in Science with honors in Physics from St. Stephens College, India, and certificates in solar electric design from Solar Energy International, USA.
