Helen is a trained solar photovoltaic technician and certified biogas mason in Kenya, founded My Energy Solutions, a company that designs, implements and monitors biogas and solar projects for rural and peri-urban communities.
Helen Mburu has a Masters in Global Business (Social Entrepreneurship track) from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy. A dynamic individual, she has garnered over 12+ years of experience in technical project oversight (from inception to implementation), client relations management and team leadership. Her managerial experience spans both start-ups and established organizations in the sectors of ICT and Renewable Energy. Key strengths include project analysis, the ability to identify and develop profitable partnerships and collaborations and working with departments to grow them from the bottom up. Helen is passionate about passing on knowledge to the younger generation for the purposes of poverty alleviation and protection of our environment sustainable energy.
