Christopher is an electrical engineer and has worked in the PV industry since 1988. He served as the Chief Technology Officer of Redback Technologies Pty Ltd from 2015 to 2018. Mr. Freitas co-founded Outback Power in 2001. Previous to that, he served as the Director of R&D at Trace Engineering, which became Xantrex Technologies and then was acquired by Schneider Electric. He has been involved with the development of US electrical standards for PV and inverter systems since 1995.
