Melanie works as the Program Manager for Remote Energy and enjoys providing support to domestic and international teams in their efforts to promote solar energy in their communities. With a background working as a project coordinator for international humanitarian aid organizations, she has worked in Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Myanmar, and the Philippines. Most recently, she worked in the U.S supporting the influx of thousands of Afghan refugees. Melanie holds an MA in journalism, BA in political science and has a working proficiency in French and is happy to make a meaningful impact in the areas of social justice and environmental conservation.
